Why clients don’t leave you reviews

If you’re wondering why clients country email list don’t rate your services by leaving a review, it’s probably because  they find it difficult or don’t know you want a review.  That’s why they won’t do it – no matter how much of a professional you are. Your clients are busy people too. So  if you want them to leave you a review, you need to help them. 😉

Here are some reasons why clients don’t leave you reviews, and how you can change that.

You don’t ask.

The most effective way to get reviews is to ask. Clients don’t know how important their reviews are to you unless you tell them.

After your services are completed, ask them for a rating, like this:

Customer:  “I like it. It’s great.”

You:  “I’m so glad you’re happy. Could you please write me a quick review? I’m trying to reach fifty reviews before the end of the year and I’m almost there. I’m asking all my favorite clients.”

This way, they will understand your motivation and, considering that you gave them a new hairstyle, nails, or allowed them to relax in your salon, they will probably have no problem with it.

They don’t know how to do it.

Clients won’t waste a lot of time on the review, so they need to know exactly where and what to write.

It will be most effective if  you tell them how to do it right away . Do you want to collect reviews on Facebook? You can send them a link (URL link) directly to a subpage in a message where they can write a review.

You can find it by clicking on your Facebook page and then tapping on the  “reviews” bar . The link should look something like this:

They have no motivation

Sometimes clients just need a little motivation. Motivating them to write reviews should be part of your marketing strategy.  Reviews are an important marketing tool  – up to 90% of customers read them before visiting the salon.

PRO TIP:
Offer a small reward for writing a review, such as a cosmetic tester or a small discount on a service, or the purchase of cosmetics from you. If you also communicate via email, add information about leaving reviews to your signature.

Maybe you didn’t impress your client.

If a client’s experience at your salon bill clinton was trying to keep her quiet is “good” but not “great,” clients won’t feel encouraged or motivated to rate your service.  Always strive to make your client experiences memorable.
