Facebook is still run by its founder, which many elite VC and Silicon Valley operators see as a valuable asset for the Menlo Park-based company. Zuckerberg is easy to dislike. However, it must be admitted that Meta’s current breakthroughs in various areas of AI – especially translation – are a great example of good leadership at Facebook.
Eliminating language barriers is 100% in line telegram marketing with Meta’s mission, which is: “To give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.”
The world is complicated, and it’s hard for employees and consumers to figure out what a brand or product is all about. If they remember one thing, that’s a success. Facebook is about connecting people and communicating, and their current work on the “super translator” is a bullseye when it comes to fulfilling their mission.

Meta Unveils AI Super Translator
Meta unveiled SeamlessM4T on Tuesday, an AI-powered “universal language translator” that can translate about 100 languages in real time. SeamlessM4T can convert speech-to-text, speech-to-speech, and text-to-speech. Meta claims that SeamlessM4T outperforms other translation tools, like Google Translate, in terms of performance and quality. Meta hasn’t said how it will use SeamlessM4T yet. One thing is for sure: Such a powerful tool is sure to shake things up.
Netflix Says Goodbye to DVDs
After 25 years, Netflix has decided to discontinue delivering DVDs to customers by mail. As a farewell, the streaming giant has prepared something special for fans of mail-order rentals. Those who decide to take advantage of the “finale surprise” offer have a chance to receive up to 10 additional discs, which will be sent on September 29 – the last day of cell p data shipping. Since 1998, Netflix has shipped over 5 billion DVDs and Blu-rays to subscribers in the US. Revenue from movie rentals has been steadily declining over the years, and the company has focused on promoting the streaming service. In 2022, the DVD business brought in $145.7 million in revenue, which was just 0.5% of Netflix’s total revenue.
