Archaeopteryx, from the Archaeopteridae family, was a half-meter-long carnivorous dinosaur, between a bird and a reptile. In Greek, the name “pteryx” means “wing”. It lived 150 million years ago in Bavaria, during the Jurassic period. The dinosaur had sharp teeth and 3 clawed fingers dimond struck back in the top of the sixth inning on each hand, but researchers have not been able to determine whether it lived on the ground or in trees. One of the fossils discovered is the oldest of a species, and no fewer than 10 such biological traces have been found in Germany.

Triceratops

Triceratops was a herbivorous dinosaur from North America, during the Late Cretaceous period, 68 or 65 million years ago. It is known for having 3 horns, 2 of them 80 cm long and a smaller one on the nose. These were used in battles for supremacy and in mating rituals. Weighing 6-12 tons, it was not very agile and moved slowly. It is not known for sure if it lived in a herd, but it is known that it was mimic, that is, it imitated the behavior of its attackers. In fact, its rival in all the films was the larger T-Rex.

 Brontosaurus

Brontosaurus, as many know it, is phone number list actually called Apatosaurus, which translates to “deceptive lizard”. It lived 155 million years ago, in the Jurassic. One of the largest land animals, weighing up to 40 tons and 27 m long, with a 12 m neck and a small head and brain, it lived in swamps and fed on aquatic plants. Its life expectancy was 100 years.

Tyrannosaurus Rex

Tyrannosaurus Rex is part of the Tyrannosauroidea Family, which includes giant predatory animals. Its name in Greek means “tyrant lizard”, and “rex” means “king” in Latin. One of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs lived in the forests of North America 85 million years ago. It walked on 2 strong legs, had small hands with 2 fingers and a straight and thin tail that helped it maintain balance. With a height of up to 6 m, it could eat 230 kg of meat in a single gulp. Tyrannosaurus Rex disappeared 65 million years ago.

The Mammoth

The mammoth is part of the Elephantidae family, from the order of proboscideans (meaning “animals with a trunk”). It lived approximately 4.8 million years ago in Africa, then in Asia and Europe and disappeared 10,000 years ago. The most famous mammoth is part of the woolly mammoth species. Mammuthus primigenius was very well adapted to the cold: it had meat, fat and fur in 3 layers, and a very b2c fax small tail and ears, so as not to lose much heat. Being a herbivore, it consumed 180 kg of food and 80 l of water per day. Among the theories circulated for their disappearance 10,000 years ago are excessive hunting by humans, the end of the last ice age, or a deadly epidemic. In Siberia, the first frozen specimen of a woolly mammoth was found by a hunter in 1799.
